Carsten K. Rath Appointed New brand Ambassador of The Luxury Network Germany
25th September 2018The Luxury Network Germany has acquired as their brand ambassador the renowned Entrepreneur, Luxury Travel Expert, Keynote Speaker and Author Carsten K. Rath.
Carsten K. Raths career in the Grand Hotellerie was leading him to four continents. He opened and managed some of the most spectular hotels of the world.
Highlights of his career path were the appointments of becoming the first Hotel Manager at the world famous Hotel Adlon in 1997, the Grande Roche in Paarl / South Africa, the Kempinski Lufthansa Center in Beijing, the Ritz-Carlton in Naples / Florida and the Kempinski Taschenbergpalais in Dresden.
In 2003 he became the General Manager of the Robinson Clubs. Thereafter he took over the Board of Directors of the Arabella Hotel Holding International and was also the CEO of Arabella Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
At the same time he was a Member of the Board at Design Hotel AG and the AOVO AG. In 2007 he started his own brand in the Grand Hotellerie with Kameha Hotels & Resorts. In 2017 he then sold his shares to fully commit to other ventures.
Today Carsten K. Rath is one of the most in demand Keynote Speakers. Very respected for his expertise, implementation strength and courage to explore new horizons, he acts as a consultant on Board or Management level.
As an author of nine books whereof one specializing top title is “Freedom without leading is just an F-word” and “There is no App for Kindness” he has made a name as an expert for leadership and service excellence.
Furthermore he passes on his experience as a university lecturer and gives his advice in the field of customer enthusiasm and future oriented management concepts to companies of various magnitudes.
He shares his travel experiences as an entrepreneur and passionate globetrotter in his blog TravelGrand. He contributes as a travel journalist with his reports also for the Handelsblatt, Die Welt, Focus, BILD, falstaff, Bilanz, RTL, WDR, SAT1, ORF2.
Carsten K. Rath was awarded amongst other things for his innovation power in service and leadership with the Prize for Innovation in the German Tourism Branch and rewarded as Employer of the Year as well as Host of the Year.
