­Miami is buzzing with talk of the newest toy for the streets—an electric bicycle called the Falkon. Is it a motorcycle? A bike? The newest yacht gadget? So, what makes the Falkon interesting?

The motorcycle-style throttle on the right handlebar will get you up and running quickly, powered by the electric motor in the rear wheel hub. The Falkon is assembled using the highest quality components, with front suspension, disc brakes, automatic gear shifting, and oversized wheels. It has an electric drive train and motor, along with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, meaning you can ride in style for hours at a time. A spacious front glove compartment built into the body provides room for purses, towels, and, most importantly, the battery charger—so you can recharge for long-distance cruises. Tiedtke highly recommends nestling a Bluetooth speaker in your glove compartment for on-the-go tunes.

Luxury for Two

The benefits of having a comfortable two-seater saddle cannot be overstated. Grab a date and cruise to the beach, up the river, or downtown. Ride on the sidewalk or on the road, avoid red lights, and zoom through traffic to park anywhere you choose.

One of the more modern elements of the Falkon is the hands-free, Bluetooth app that controls the e-bike. Once you connect using your smartphone and the Lohner App, you can measure distance and speed as well as change power settings. The in-app security features mean that once you connect to your Falkon for the first time, no one else can use it unless they have your passcode.
