In co-operation with their member NESPRESSO the top clients of The Luxury Network Germany members portfolio were given the opportunity to take part in an outstanding golf event.

150 selected golf- and gourmet guests followed the personal invitation to the NESPRESSO “Fine Nine Golf & Gourmet Festival”, a unique combination of golf, networking and fine cuisine.

Not less than 9 Michelin Star Chefs presented best gourmet delights in the heart of the German Palatinate during a 9-hole golf round as well as in the stylish new clubhouse of the Mainz Golf Club.

The team format of the golf tournament guaranteed in beautiful Indian Summer weather a great fun factor on the challenging „Canyon Course” and afterwards also on the clubhouse terrace.

The stars chefs were amongst others Boris Rommel (Gourmet-Restaurant “Le Cerf” / Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe), Renato Manzi & Michael Hopf (Maxwell Resort / Langenburg), Hubert Obendorfer & Christian Schider (Restaurant “Eisvogel” / Neuenburg v.d. Walde), Carmelo Greco (Rístorante “Carmelo Greco” / Frankfurt), Philipp Stein (Restaurant “Favorite” / Mainz), Thomas Wolf (Gourmet Restaurant “Eisenbahn” / Landhaus Wolf Schwäbisch Hall) or Klaus Erfort (Gästehaus Klaus Erfort / Saarbrücken).

Naturally the Champagner-Bar of the network partner Vranken Pommery was not be missed, paired with precious caviar, live cooking stations, show kitchen, a NESPRESSO Coffee Bar, including of course a barista, as well as accompanying excellent wines by local wine makers, rounding the culinary fireworks.

Golf sessions for non-golfers, Coffee-Master Classes and a very impressive Long-Drive-Show by the German runner-up Martin Borgemeier contributed to a most successful social programme.

This festival of all senses was celebrated until late at night and all guests agreed that it was a highlight of the summer season 2018!
