On the 19th October 2016 this special B2C event was co-hosted by Savoy Charters and Coast New Zealand. Luxury Network members and their guests were invited to step aboard the 16.4m Savoy Power Cat moored in the Viaduct Harbour and take a tour of the upper and lower decks which were dressed out with a wonderful array of marine furnishings by Coast New Zealand.

Drinks and delightful canapes—including freshly caught prawns and scallops—were served while Scott Unsworth from Savoy Boat Charters introduced his company, explaining how the vessel can be booked for several hours or several days which can include watersports, fishing and various catering options including a gourmet barbecue—the perfect venue for corporate entertaining with style.

Nicola Webster then said a few words about how she and her husband Alex had grown Coast New Zealand from marine beginnings with inspiration for the range being drawn from life by the sea.

Their NZ made Marine Bean collection of bean bags, cushions and luggage is smart enough to take anywhere yet tough enough to last, with enduring comfort and timeless style—a point proved as she pulled off a clever Beanbag Overboard stunt later in the trip. Needless to say it survived the rescue attempt with style and perfectly intact!

What a beautiful evening it was as we pulled away from our mooring in the Viaduct to head out under the Harbour Bridge for a cruise around the Waitemata Harbour. I can think of no better way to spend an evening of networking as the sun slowly set on the horizon in the city of sales.
